1. Group Formation & Family Selection

  • Work in groups of 4–5 students.

  • Choose a famous family to research.
    You can choose a real family or a fictional family from films or sitcoms.


Examples of famous families:

  • 👑 The British Royal Family (real)

  • 🎬 The Simpsons (TV show)

  • 💫 The Skywalker Family (Star Wars)

  • 🦸 The Incredibles (movie)

  • 💍 The Weasley Family (Harry Potter)

  • 🧛 The Addams Family (sitcom/movie)


2. Research

Find simple information about your family:

  • Who are the main family members?

  • What are they famous for?

  • What is their personality? (Use adjectives like funny, brave, powerful, creative...)

  • What challenges or problems do they face?

  • What impact or influence do they have on society, culture, or entertainment?


3. Scriptwriting

Write a short podcast script (about 130–150 words).
Your script should include:

  • Introduction of the family.

  • Description of the family members and their main story or achievements.

  • Discussion of the family’s impact or why they are well known.

Remember to:

  • Use adjectives to describe them (funny, famous, strong, etc.).

  • Use past tenses (was, were, had, lived, became...) when telling their story.


4. Podcast Recording

  • Record your podcast using Audacity, GarageBand, or even a smartphone.

  • Add intro music or sound effects to make it more fun.


5. Sharing the Podcast

  • Play your podcast for the class and enjoy listening to other groups’ stories!

Host: Welcome to “Family Stories.” Today, we’re talking about The Incredibles, one of the most famous superhero families in film.

[Transition Music]
Host: The Incredibles appeared in 2004 in a Disney Pixar movie. The family included Mr. Incredible, his wife Elastigirl, and their three children, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack. Each one had special powers and strong personalities. They faced many challenges while trying to live a normal life and fight villains at the same time.

The movie was exciting, funny, and full of action. It became very popular and showed how teamwork and family love can save the day.

[Closing Music]
Host: The Incredibles are remembered as brave, loving, and powerful. Thanks for listening to “Family Stories.” See you next time!
