- Detail family member 2: Profile & appearance (20 seconds): Introduce your second family member (e.g., mother or sibling) with key facts and physical features.
- Detail family member 2: Personality & hobbies (15–20 seconds): Describe their personality and favourite hobbies or habits.
- Include siblings, pets, or extended Family (15–20 seconds): Talk about a sibling, pet, or a close relative like a grandparent. Describe their age, character, or role in the family.
- Share family traditions & favourite activities (15–20 seconds): Explain what your family does together on weekends, during holidays, or on special occasions.
- Express personal reflection & appreciation (10–15 seconds): Explain why your family is important to you or share a favourite memory.
Polite Closing & Practice Strategy (5–10 seconds): Conclude smoothly, thank the audience, and invite questions.
- Target word count & timing: Aim for 180 to 220 words total to hit the 2-minute mark (speaking clearly at a standard speed). Time yourself with a stopwatch during practice to ensure you stay right at 2 minutes.
Important!
Present every member of your family in a different paragraph. You can also talk about your parents in the same paragraph, your siblings in a new one, and your grandparents in a 3rd paragraph. Remember to submit your work and get ready for the presentation.
